UbiPharm Gabon launched its UbiAcademy Week on 28, 29, 30 May and 4 June 2024. The event brought together 268 pharmacists for four days of intensive training. Speakers included Dr Awore and Mr Ndomo from UbiPharm Gabon, as well as Ms Xaviera Nzamba and Mr Akoumbou.
Key figures such as Dr KonKobo Sibiri, Africa Director, and Mr Kouamé Thierry, UbiPharm Director and CEO of DII, were also present. Always with the aim of being a company that grows with its partners, this event aims to ensure controlled growth and to improve the skills of everyone involved.
From 3 to 6 July 2024, UbiPharm took part in the 23rd edition of the International Pharmaceutical Forum (FPI) in Lomé, Togo, as an official partner. This major event brought together key players in the African pharmaceutical industry around the theme: "Universal access to healthcare: challenges, issues and prospects for the pharmaceutical sector". The forum, held under the patronage of the Togolese Prime Minister, Mrs Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, took place at the Hotel 2 Février, Salle Concorde in Lomé, Togo.
During the forum, the Managing Director of UbiPharm Togo, Dr Isdine LAOUROU, the Promotion Director of PlanetPharma, Dr Alassane COULIBALY, the Managing Director of UbiPharm Development, Dr Prosper AWUVE, and the Commercial Director of UbiPharm Togo, Mr Akovi MENSAH spoke at a symposium. On 9 and 10 March 2024, the UbiPharm team welcomed almost 500 people to the magnificent Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris for the second edition of its In Good Hands by UbiPharm event. The theme of the event was "anticipation through innovation". Innovation is one of the Group's values.
The event began with a warm welcome from Mrs NTSAME OBAME, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UbiPharm Group, marking the start of a half-day of innovation and sharing. In his opening speech, Dr Olivier BLÉ, Deputy Director of PlanetPharma, the Group's wholesale export distributor, explained how innovation is the key to transforming pharmaceutical distribution.

Dr Abbas Moinahadidja, a pharmacist trained at the Université Aix-Marseille II and the Université Paul Sabatier, in France, joins the UbiPharm team with extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, and thanks to her experience in pharmacies and the hospital sector.

As part of our ‘In Good Hands 2024’ event, on 12 March 2024, around twenty partners from our Drom subsidiaries honoured us with a behind-the-scenes tour of UbiPharm, and simultaneously the premises of PlanetPharma, the Group's Export Wholesale Distributor, in Le Grand Quevilly, in the Rouen region of mainland France.
After a warm welcome from the teams, the guests began the day with a tour of the PlanetPharma warehouse, where the ultra-modern stacker crane system captured everyone's attention. Representatives had the opportunity to discover how this revolutionary technology optimises the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring their rapid and efficient availability.

Among others, women from the Group's Togolese subsidiary took part in an enriching training course entitled ‘Optimising your impact at work: PNR tools and practices with a focus on inheritance law’. The aim of this initiative was to strengthen the participants' professional skills while raising their awareness of the crucial aspects of inheritance law.

allowing women to connect and inspire each other.
Between January and March 2024, the General Managers and Management of the UbiPharm Group took part in two strategic seminars. The first session was held in Fort-De-France, Martinique, from 14 to 19 January 2024, while the second took place in Rouen, France, from 4 to 8 March 2024.
During these two weeks, the team received training in project management and shared their experiences of continuous improvement practices within their respective subsidiaries. The common objective remains to innovate in order to transform the distribution and distribution models for healthcare solutions, making them more accessible in Africa and the French overseas departments and territories.
In accordance with French law, the Economic et Social Unit (ESU), comprising the four specialist subsidiaries PlanetPharma, Gesca, DII and D.T. Pharma, publish their gender equality index. The companies in the UES achieved a score of 92 out of 100 for the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
As a reminder, the gender equality index is an overall score made up of four or five indicators (depending on the size of the company):
- average pay gap between men and women ;
- difference in the rate of individual pay rises ;
- percentage of employees receiving a pay rise on return from maternity leave;
- number of women in the ten highest-paid positions.

On Wednesday 31 January 2024, the UbiPharm Foundation once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the living conditions of people, particularly children, in Togo,
At a ceremony held at the Sainte Marie de Wodénoukopé primary school and the Adoglové secondary school, the UbiPharm Foundation officially handed over to the educational community a number of items, including a newly installed mixed water fountain, a renovated school building and new latrines. The entire project was funded by the UbiPharm Foundation to the tune of just over 24,000,000 FCFA.
Several distinguished guests were present at the inauguration ceremony, and unveiled the plaques, including: the Director of Diocesan Education, the Director of Secondary Education, the Mayor of the Commune of Agoè Nyivé 6, traditional authorities, the President of the Togolese Order of Pharmacists, the Vice-President of the UbiPharm Foundation, and the President of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Togo. They were joined by several pharmacists from the region and executives from UbiPharm Group companies.
During the ceremony, Mrs Émilie DOVI-AKUE, explained: "The projects go beyond their immediate usefulness. They symbolise our belief that all children deserve a healthy, safe and stimulating learning environment. Access to drinking water and adequate sanitation is a fundamental right that allows children to focus on what is essential: their education, their development and their future."
In addition to the school building renovation project and the construction of the 6 latrines, since 2016 Fondation UbiPharm has inaugurated 15 fountains in ten prefectures of Togo, demonstrating its commitment to equitable access to drinking water.

The human resources teams of the UbiPharm group's subsidiaries held their seminar from 1 to 6 February 2024 in Lomé, Togo.
At this annual meeting, participants were given training in areas such as forward-looking management of jobs and skills, and the role of branding in internal communication. The teams also took the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss management issues.
The event ended on a high note with a convivial excursion to discover the Womé waterfall in Kpalimé, also in Togo.
On this day, 30 January 2024, the UbiPharm Foundation is announcing the official handover of 4 state-of-the-art incubators to the Neonatology Department of the Treichville University Hospital in Côte d'Ivoire. This event is of particular importance, symbolising the Foundation's commitment to the most vulnerable populations.
The incubators handed over to the Treichville University Hospital, which symbolise commitment, love and hope, are worth a total of thirty-five million CFA francs. They represent a further step towards achieving a clear objective: to reduce infant mortality. The dedication, passion and commitment of all involved demonstrate the foundations and solidarity of this action.
At the award ceremony, Mrs Juliette EGNANKOU, President of the UbiPharm Foundation, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Foundation to:

In recognition of its outstanding services to the international customs community, UbiPharm Togo, represented by its Managing Director, Dr Isdine LAOUROU, was honoured by the World Customs Organisation last quarter. This recognition took place on the occasion of International Customs Day 2024, on 26 January.
This year's theme was: “For a Customs that mobilises its historical and new partners around clear objectives”. This theme is a strategic call to action, encouraging us to broaden our perspectives, to be creative in our thinking, and to adopt innovative approaches.

The UbiPharm Fondation has reaffirmed its commitment to education in the Congo by officially handing over a new school building to Collège Nkouka-Boussoumbou in Madibou, in Brazzaville's eighth arrondissement. The ceremony, which took place on December 4, 2023, was honored by the presence of the Minister of Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education and Literacy, Jean-Luc MOUTHOU.
The Minister expressed his gratitude, underlining the importance of responding to the Head of State's educational vision. "It's a tremendous feeling of joy to be part of the Head of State's vision by offering Congolese schoolchildren school infrastructure as close as possible to their homes. This is our commitment and our priesthood", declared Minister Jean-Luc Mouthou.
A modernized education building
The refurbished building comprises three classrooms and a modern administrative block including the principal's office, the director of studies' office, the bursar's office, the teachers' lounge, the secretariat, the general supervisor's office and modern toilets. Renovation work has also been carried out on the student toilets.
The Board of Directors of UbiPharm Group and the Executive Committee announces with great sympathy that Dr Youssif El Hadj MADOUGOU, Trustee of the UbiPharm Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Niger from 2018 to 2020, has passed away on 14 December 2023.

On November 9, 2023, UbiPharm Senegal, a major player in the pharmaceutical sector, held a gala dinner to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar.
The event was marked by an exceptional evening full of emotion, and brought together almost 300 participants, including customers, staff and partners, creating a festive atmosphere.
Following a decision by its Board of Directors, the UbiPharm Group, a pan-African expert in logistics and the pharmaceutical supply chain in Africa and the French overseas departments and territories, announces the appointment of Mr Marc KOUAMÉ to the position of Group General Secretary with effect from 8 November 2023. This is a new position within the company.
A graduate in Business Law from the Faculty of Law in Abidjan, Mr Marc KOUAMÉ joined the UbiPharm Group’s ecosystem in 1999. Over the years, he has held several other positions, including that of Executive Secretary of the UbiPharm Foundation. Marc KOUAMÉ became a member of the AMP 2014 class of the MDE Business School Executive Programme.
The appointment of Mr KOUAMÉ as General Secretary of the UbiPharm Group is a testimony to his 24 years of investment and contribution to bringing healthcare to people in Africa and the French overseas departments and territories, proving his commitment and reliability.

On November 10, 2023, Mr Bertrand GBOHO, General Manager of D.T. Pharma and French territories coordinator, and Ms Célia RIQUET, Director of Pharmaceutical Affairs at PlanetPharma, met students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Limoges.
This meeting with the second year Master's students in the "Pharmaceutical Distribution" class turned out to be much more than a simple corporate presentation of the UbiPharm group. An enriching exchange
The students appreciated the presentation, which was unequivocally beneficial for those wishing to pursue a career in pharmaceutical distribution. They were able to witness the company's determination to look to the future, by helping them becoming the professionals of tomorrow.
On the morning of Sunday, October 8, Baie-Mahault in Guadeloupe was transformed into a vast terrain of solidarity, health and awareness during the second annual Foulées du Ruban Rose. The event, organized by the eponymous association, brought together 2,500 participants, including 28 UbiPharm Guadeloupe employees and partner pharmacists, as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Guadeloupe, Mr. Abdoulaye TRAORÉ. The famous Miss & Mister Guadeloupe were also present, accompanied by a troupe of dancers.
The month of October is designated worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Pink October campaign mobilizes the general public in the fight against the disease. It was in this spirit that Les Foulées du Ruban Rose was born. The initiative aims to boost awareness and prevention of breast cancer, while supporting those affected by the disease.

The extra-financial performance declaration, also called DPEF, is published annually and gives stakeholders a vision of the CSR performance of the UbiPharm group. The latter reports on the policies implemented by the Group regarding environmental and societal issues.
On Friday September 29, the UbiPharm Foundation and UbiPharm Guyane officially donated the brand new reception hall at the École de la 2ème Chance in Cayenne, French Guiana, during an inauguration ceremony.
Supporting the renovation of the school's reception hall was an opportunity to transform the reception area for young people at the École de la 2ème Chance. The aim of the donation was to improve reception conditions for young people attending the school, and to demonstrate the importance of community involvement and investment in their future by providing an environment conducive to their personal and professional development.
The event brought together over 50 participants, including key members of UbiPharm and École de la 2ème Chance. Inspiring speeches underlined the commitment of UbiPharm Fondation and E2C to the education and professional integration of young people in French Guyana.
On Saturday 23rd, 2023, our teams participated in the Seine-Marathon 76, in Rouen, Normandy, and ran 10 km.
Race organized in the evening, it started at the l’Hôtel de Département de Seine-Maritime. The route followed the historic route, passing, among other things, through the center of Rouen and the Quais de Seine.

Dr Arnaud CHEFDEVILLE, an experienced pharmacist trained at the University of Rouen and the University of Limoge in France, joined the UbiPharm Group in 2019. He held the positions of Pharmacist in charge in French Guiana and Guadeloupe, before becoming Managing Director of UbiPharm Mayotte in 2020.

UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire, the pan-African pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain expert founded in Côte d'Ivoire, announces the departure of its Managing Director Dr Olivier BLÉ. He will be succeeded by Dr Isaak Pétanguy, effective August 1, 2023.
Dr Pétanguy Isaack COULIBALY, a pharmacist trained at the UFR des Sciences Pharmaceutiques et Biologiques de l'Université de Cocody in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, joined the UbiPharm team in 2006 as Assistant Pharmacist, before becoming Agency Manager in several towns in Côte d'Ivoire, and Sales Manager. Dr COULIBALY then took up the reins as General Manager of UbiPharm Mali in 2018.
Dr Olivier BLÉ, with the UbiPharm Group for almost 27 years, had held the position of Managing Director of the Côte d'Ivoire subsidiary since 2013. Dr BLÉ has been appointed to a new position within the UbiPharm Group.

UbiPharm Burkina, pan-African expert in pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain in Burkina Faso, announces the departure of its Managing Director Dr Malick DIARRA. Dr Franck Stéphane AMANI succeeds him as of July 1, 2023.
Dr Franck Stéphane AMANI, a pharmacist trained in Côte d’Ivoire and Togo, joined the UbiPharm team in 2014 as a sales Pharmacist, before becoming Sales Director in Lomé. Dr AMANI then took over UbiPharm Togo’s management of in 2019.
Dr Malick DIARRA has worked in the UbiPharm group for more than 17 years, where he held the position of Managing Director of the Burkinabe subsidiary since 2017. Dr DIARRA is appointed as UbiPharm Mali’s Managin Director.

UbiPharm Mali, the pan-African expert in pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain management in Mali, announces the departure of its Managing Director Dr Pétanguy Isaack COULIBALY. He will be succeeded by Dr Malick DIARRA, effective July 1, 2023.
Dr Malick DIARRA, a pharmacist trained at the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, joined the UbiPharm team in 2006. Over the years, he progressed from Assistant Pharmacist in Burkina to Branch Manager in Congo in 2016. Dr DIARRA then took up the reins as General Manager of UbiPharm Burkina in 2017.
Dr Pétanguy Isaack COULIBALY, has been with the UbiPharm Group for almost 17 years, and has held the position of General Manager of the Malian subsidiary since 2018. Dr COULIBALY has been appointed to a new position within the UbiPharm group.
UbiPharm Mali thanks Dr COULIBALY for his leadership and looks forward to working with Dr DIARRA.

UbiPharm Togo, the pan-African expert in logistics and the pharmaceutical supply chain in Togo, announces the departure of its Managing Director Dr Franck Stéphane AMANI. He will be succeeded by Dr Isdine LAOUROU, effective July 1, 2023.
Dr Isdine LAOUROU, a pharmacist trained at the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, joined the UbiPharm team in May 2009 as Assistant Pharmacist, before becoming Branch Manager in Brazzaville. Dr LAOUROU then took over as General Manager of UbiPharm Benin in 2019.
Dr Franck AMANI, with the UbiPharm group for nine years, held the position of Managing Director of the Togolese subsidiary since 2019. Dr Franck Stéphane AMANI has been appointed Managing Director of UbiPharm Burkina.

UbiPharm Benin, pan-African expert in pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain in Benin, announces the departure of its Managing Director Dr Isdine LAOUROU. Mr Moutcharaf MOUSTAPHA, Sales Director of the Beninese subsidiary, is promoted and succeeds him as Managing Director as of July 1, 2023.
Dr Isdine LAOUROU joined the UbiPharm Group in 2009. He held the positions of Assistant Pharmacist and Branch Manager, before becoming Managing Director of UbiPharm Benin in 2019. UbiPharm Benin thanks him for all the work accomplished over the past four years .
The relay is ensured by Dr Moutcharaf MOUSTAPHA, pharmacist trained at the UFR PHARMACIE of the University of Abomey Calavi (Benin), who joined the of UbiPharm Benin team seven years ago as Pharmacist Operations Manager, before becoming Sales Director.

From June 1 to 4, UbiPharm was present at the 22nd edition of the International Pharmaceutical Forum, a major event bringing together key players in the pharmaceutical industry in Africa, as Lead Sponsor. The theme of this year's event was "Pharmaceutical Sovereignty for Africa: Challenges and Opportunities". The international meeting, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Senegal, took place at the King Fadh Palace in Dakar, Senegal.
During the Forum, Dr THIAM, Managing Director of UbiPharm Senegal, and Dr NDONG, Sales Director of our Senegalese subsidiary, also had the opportunity to speak at a symposium. They highlighted our commitment to pharmacists and healthcare professionals in Africa, underlining our willingness to work closely together to meet the continent's specific needs.
During the last semester, on December 29, 2022, UbiPharm Burkina received an honorary distinction from the State of Burkina Faso in the framework of the celebration of the Independence Day of the country on December 11. This award was made on the proposal of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Burkina, Dr DAO Boukary and of the General Manager, Dr Malick DIARRA regarding the 5 collaborators. The latter have been awarded the rank of Knight of the Order of Merit of Health and Social Action with the Health clasp.
As for the General Manager of the Burkinabe subsidiary of UbiPharm, Dr DIARRA, he was rewarded on the proposal of the National Order of Pharmacists of Burkina Faso, and was elevated to the rank of Knight of the Burkinabe Order of Merit.
On April 7, the UbiPharm Group hosted an exciting webinar on "Inspiring Women: Celebrating Their Achievements and Impact within the Group." This event brought together women and men from the Company to celebrate the achievements of remarkable women within the company.
The webinar was hosted by two inspiring women: Ms. Ntsame Obame, Group CFO and CFO of the Gabonese subsidiary, and Ms. Liban, CFO of UbiPharm Guadeloupe. During the video conference, Ms. Ntsame Obame spoke about her career in the pharmaceutical industry, highlighting the challenges she faced as a woman to advance her career. Ms. Liban, for her part, explained that juggling a career and a personal life is not always easy, but that being organized and having a strong support network can help you find a balance.
The sharing of experiences by these two accomplished pharmacists was a source of inspiration for the employees present.
On April 19, 2023, representatives of the UbiPharm Foundation went to the Man region to donate books. The Foundation, which is involved in civic and social actions, aims, among other things, to improve the education of the population. It is in this context that it went to Man Doyagouiné, in Côte d'Ivoire, to support the government of Côte d'Ivoire in the process of improving the quality of the education system.
The Foundation's donation included more than 3,000 books, textbooks and pedagogical materials, as well as computers for secondary school math clubs.
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March 2023, the UbiPharm group was happy to meet up with pharmacists from the various countries in which it operates for the sold-out event In Good Hands by UbiPharm, at La Palmeraie in Paris 15th. More than 580 people from Africa, French overseas departments and territories, and France met for that event.
On Saturday 18 February 2023, UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire employees from all branches were presented with long-service awards. The event, which took place at the Dream Espace in Cocody, Abidjan, was full of emotion, as it was an opportunity to mark and celebrate between 15 and over 35 years of work for the longest-serving employees of the Côte d'Ivoire subsidiary.
On February 10, 2023, UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire, expert in the pharmaceutical supply chain in Côte d'Ivoire, was present at the 9th edition of the Forum des Stages in Yamoussoukro. The theme of this year was: "The challenge of youth employment".
The 2023 edition of the Internship Forum was chaired by Ms. Francine BLE, Regional Director of Youth Promotion (representing the Minister of Youth Promotion, Professional Insertion and Civic Service).
From January 23 to 28, 2023, the General Managers and the Management of the UbiPharm Group met for a seminar in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. They exchanged and discussed operational excellence processes to ensure that we continue to deliver quality pharmaceutical products to patients. The participants completed their training for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
The sharing of experiences and interactions between participants provided an opportunity to agree on how to be in a continuous improvement process to ensure we continue to create value for all our stakeholders.
The teams also participated in team building activities in Assinie including a yoga session and visits to the Ehotilés Islands National Park and the Assinie Mafia lagoon’s mouth.
When epiphany comes around in France, all the French enjoy their traditional "galette des rois". Thus on January 6th, all gather to have a piece of this cake composed of a flaky pastry, usually filled with frangipane, in which a bean is hidden.
In that context, last Friday was marked by a sharing moment and conviviality in the offices of the subsidiaries of the UbiPharm group based in Normandy, namely PlanetPharma, Gesca, D.T.Pharma and UbiPharm Development. On the menu, of course: the famous "galette des rois" !

From October 28 to 30, 2022 in Port Gentil, Gabon, the "Club UbiPharm" took place, bringing together the teams of UbiPharm Gabon and 27 pharmacists.
This year's activity included an excursion to the St-Anne mission (Centenary Church) on the first day and a training session on the second day.
In order to share the keys to good management with pharmacists, the theme of the day was: "How to finance the projects of the pharmacist manager ?”
3 administrators, the General Manager, and the Sales Manager of the Gabonese subsidiary of the UbiPharm group joined the participants. They were able to express themselves on various subjects and were satisfied with this very first time in Port Gentil.

During the month of October, the UbiPharm Group and its subsidiaries were mobilised within the context of "Pink October 2022", which aims to raise awareness and mobilise the general public against breast cancer.
In order to support the various initiatives throughout the countries where UbiPharm is present, the Group launched a digital campaign entitled: "In October, pink is not just a colour...". This campaign highlighted the importance of early detection while sharing a fact every Monday during the month of October.
Among the initiatives of the subsidiaries, an information session was organized by UbiPharm Senegal; UbiPharm Gabon teams created mini-clips to raise awareness about breast cancer, and the teams of the Ivorian subsidiary took part in a hike. The staff of PromoNova, a subsidiary specialised in pharmaceutical promotion, also wore pink during an internal event.

The UbiPharm group was Ivory Sponsor of the 3rd edition of the Africa Santé Expo 2022 trade show which took place from December 1st to 3rd at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This year's theme was: "Health, beauty and well-being: new solutions adapted to Africa".
This event organised by a committee of scientists brought together health professionals from several countries of the continent, aiming to improve the health system in Côte d'Ivoire. The Minister of Health, Public Hygiene, and Universal Medical Coverage of Côte d'Ivoire and President of Africa Santé Expo, Mr. Pierre DIMBA, officially opened the show, and visited the stands, including that of the UbiPharm group.
As part of the celebrations marking the twentieth anniversary of the Cameroonian subsidiary of the UbiPharm group, on Saturday October 22, 2022, a ceremony was held to award medals to UbiPharm Cameroon employees, all agencies combined. The event, under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Cameroon, was presided by its Minister, His Excellency M. Grégoire OWONA, and took place at the Best Western Hotel.
The UbiPharm Foundation is providing the town of Obala in Cameroon with a water drilling point. This donation is the first of a series of 10 donations of boreholes and drinking water fountains in the 10 regions of Cameroon.
On Thursday 27 October 2022, during an inauguration ceremony at the hospital in the commune of Obala, the UbiPharm Foundation donated a drinking water borehole, in the form of a public fountain, to the people of the locality of Obala, in the Centre region of Cameroon. This 95m deep solar water pumping system has a pumping capacity of about 40m3 per day and is equipped with a treatment system that guarantees the potability of the water without chemical treatment.
The Obala water point will be managed by development committees, community initiatives. This donation is the first of a series of 10 donations of boreholes and drinking water fountains in the 10 regions of Cameroon, mainly in localities where access to water is compromised. All ten boreholes are financed by the UbiPharm Foundation to the tune of 70 million CFA francs.
During the ceremony, Mrs Juliette EGNANKOU, President of the UbiPharm Foundation, unveiled the inauguration plaques and officially handed over the keys of the borehole to the Prefect of the region, Mr Patrick SUMO KAMSU.
Mrs Juliette EGNANKOU, explains: "I am happy that we are gathered on this day to celebrate health and life. This drilling system installed in the Obala district hospital will enable us to supply the surrounding populations. So we are celebrating water at hand. "
Mr Patrick SUMO KAMSU, Prefect of Lékié, added: "It is our responsibility as a commune to put in place the necessary infrastructure for the distribution of water to our populations. With this donation of a borehole, the UbiPharm Foundation is supporting us in our efforts to make drinking water accessible to the inhabitants of Obala. We are grateful for that. "
This charitable initiative, sponsored by the UbiPharm Foundation, took place on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of UbiPharm Cameroon.
More than 500 people attended the event including: officials from the Cameroon Ministry of Public Health, the Prefect of the Department of Lékié, the Sub-Prefect and the Mayor of the locality of Obala, the management of the Obala District Hospital, and traditional authorities, law enforcement agencies. They were also joined by the members of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm and the Advisory Board of UbiPharm Cameroon, as well as several executives of the company. The population of Obala was also present at this festive event.

The new edition of the Cameroon Sports Walk took place on October 16, 2022. The highly anticipated event was on the theme of the 20th anniversary of UbiPharm Cameroon.
More than 400 athletes in Bassa, 300 in Yaoundé and 150 in Ngaoundéré were gathered in the three commercial agencies of UbiPharm Cameroon. The participants included all the staff, pharmacist customers and pharmacy assistants.
UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire was Diamond Sponsor of the 9th edition of the National Order of Pharmacists' Days of Côte d'Ivoire held from October 6 to 7 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. This year's theme is: "The practice of pharmacy in Côte d'Ivoire: issues, challenges and prospects".
This annual event, organized by a committee appointed by the National Order of Pharmacists of Côte d'Ivoire, brought together all pharmacists from the health sector and wholesale distributors from the country, as well as laboratories.

The Board of Directors of UbiPharm group announces with sympathy that Dr Daniel NDOUMOU OBAME, Board Chairman of UbiPharm Gabon has passed away on September 6th, 2022, in Libreville, Gabon.
Dr NDOUMOU OBAME had recently been appointed Board Chairman of UbiPharm group and of GESCA. He was also one of the founders of the UbiPharm group.
Afflicted by the news of Dr NDOUMOU OBAME's passing, UbiPharm group would like to thank the late Dr NDOUMOU OBAME for his invaluable contribution to the Group, and offers its deepest condolences to his family in these difficult times.

On June 26, in the town of Pointe Noire in Congo, the staff representatives of UbiPharm's Congolese subsidiary organised their traditional monthly fast walk.
For the first time, an all-female team was brought together to encourage a sporting dynamic, and bring team spirit amongst the female staff.
Over the past few months, the UbiPharm Foundation has donated ten European standards neonatal incubators to Bobo-Dioulasso’s Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Souro Sanou (CHUSS), in Burkina Faso, and to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Gabriel Toure in Bamako, Mali. Each hospital was given five incubators.
The donation of these incubators took place during the last quarter of 2021. This equipment will increase the reception capacity of the neonatology units, and enable better care for premature children.
These donations reflect the interest that the UbiPharm Foundation has in improving the living conditions of the populations of the countries in which the UbiPharm group is present.
With these initiatives, the UbiPharm Foundation perpetuates its actions of solidarity and sharing for the benefit of vulnerable populations.

After a two-year hiatus due to the situation caused by COVID-19, the teams at UbiPharm Cameroon organized their famous annual “fast walk” on Sunday, April 24th, 2022.
The participants, composed of staff, pharmacy customers, assistants and students, were brought together to mark Labor Day, which will take place on May 1st, 2022. Board Chairman at UbiPharm Cameroon, Dr Henri NJITCHOUANG NONO and the Commissioner of Police of the 8th district of the city of Douala honored the teams with their presence during the activity.
The event punctuated by speeches from Dr NJITCHOUANG NONO, and Dr LOMPO, General Manager of UbiPharm Cameroon, ended with the presentation of awards and trophies. The first prize was awarded to Dr Etienne GBABI, pharmacist trainee of the Pharmacie des Merveilles.

The 6th edition of the Antilles-Guyana MAYOTTE Thesis Award, which takes place every two years, took place on February 19th at the Relais du Moulin, in Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe. This award is granted by the UbiPharm group in partnership with the National Academy of Pharmacy since 2009.
The awards ceremony was held on 15 December 2021, during a solemn event organised by the National Academy of Pharmacy, which rewards pharmacy students throughout France. The winners this year are : Ms Camille WATTEZ (1st prize), Ms Julie LE PELLETIER (2nd prize ex-aequo), and Ms Lindy JIOUNANDAN (2nd prize ex-aequo).
The jury was proud to present the lucky winners with a trophy, a symbolic financial envelope, and a book on West Indian pharmacopoeia.
Publication of the gender equality index of PlanetPharma’s Economic and Social Unit 2021.
In accordance with French law, the economic and social unit (ESU) composed of four specialized subsidiaries, namely PlanetPharma, Gesca, DII, and D.T. Pharma, today publish their professional equality index between men and women. The companies comprised in the ESU score 68 out of a 100 for the period January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

On 8 March 2021, the world celebrated International Women's Rights Day. The official UN theme for this year was "Women's Leadership: Towards an Equal Future in the World".
On Saturday 6 February 2021, a brainstorming session on the theme of "Customer Satisfaction" was held at UbiPharm Niger for all departments of the subsidiary. The President of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Niger, Mrs Fatimata Zara BILKASSOUM, honoured the teams with her presence during the session.
On the 3rd of July, the inauguration of GADEPAM association's "Kaz garden" took place in Maison de l'Artisanat Traditionnel et des Produits Naturels in French Guiana. The project was materialized thanks to the support of the UbiPharm Foundation.
This traditional garden aims to enable the public, and especially children, to discover the plants from Guiana's biodiversity used in crafts and traditional medicine, as well as to acquire knowledge on the best use these Creole remedies. "Kaz's garden" will be open to the general public from September 2021.
In the past, the UbiPharm Foundation participated in the publication of two books on medicinal plants and donated a screening vehicle to an association working in health prevention in the region.
