In Good Hands by UbiPharm 2025: A new edition under the banner of innovation 01 | 01
The UbiPharm Group held the third edition of its annual event In Good Hands by UbiPharm, bringing together nearly 500 participants around the theme "Innovation That Matters", launching the 2025 campaign under the slogan: “Innovation that matters.”
For the first time, Nelson, the Group’s virtual host, guided the day and introduced the session with an immersive video.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Mrs. DOVI AKUE, Chairwoman of the Group’s Board of Directors, who highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation: “Innovation also lies in what each of us brings to our profession, our practices, and our capacity to adapt,” she stated.
A Dynamic Plenary Session Driven by Innovation
The session was moderated by Mrs. Olivia Yéré-Daubrey, journalist and facilitator.
The discussions opened with a reflection on the Group’s founding values, embodied daily by UbiPharm network employees. Mr. Marc KOUAMÉ, Group Secretary General, firmly recalled the importance of the Group’s historical identity pillars: Audacity, Trust, and Sharing, which have evolved into the Group’s core values—SPICE: Customer Satisfaction, Partnership, Innovation, Trust, and Social Commitment.
“Audacity, Trust, Sharing… These are more than words. They are the foundation upon which UbiPharm is built. They guide our decisions, actions, and relationships,” said Mr. KOUAMÉ.
A live interactive poll allowed participants to express which value resonated most with their professional life. This sparked enriching exchanges, revealing both the diversity of experiences and the unity around a shared vision.
Spotlight on innovations serving healthcare
Several of the Group’s innovations and initiatives were showcased:
Cybersecurity and AI: key challenges
A highlight of the event was the talk by Clément DOMINGO, ethical hacker and co-founder of the NGO Hackers Without Borders. He raised awareness about the critical issues surrounding cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, particularly in the healthcare sector.
CSR as a lever for innovation
Mr. Éric BOURDIN, a committed pharmacist, spoke on how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can also represent a form of innovation. He shared concrete actions implemented to create a positive impact on the environment and workplace well-being.
A closing marked by optimism and commitment
Mr. Gérard MANGOUA, Group Managing Director, concluded the morning with a strong vision:“The future belongs to those who dare. Let’s be the ones who drive change.”
He emphasised that in a constantly evolving sector, the courage to innovate and the ability to adapt are key to ensuring access to healthcare everywhere, for everyone.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2025, which coincided with the In Good Hands weekend, women were honored through the symbolic gift of a rose for each female participant and the screening of the video "She by UbiPharm", highlighting the women employees and founders of the Group. Mrs. DOVI AKUE, Chairwoman of the Board, reminded the audience: “Women are now at the heart of change. Their involvement in healthcare is reshaping our sector.”
An elegant and festive evening
To conclude the In Good Hands by UbiPharm 2025 weekend, on Sunday, March 9, participants gathered at the Espace Clacquesin in Paris. This industrial-chic venue, rich in history and enhanced by creative lighting, offered a prestigious and convivial setting. Guests celebrated the 2025 edition during the “UbiShine: Glitter and Glam” evening, featuring molecular cocktails, live music, and an elegance contest before the official opening of the dance floor.
This edition of In Good Hands by UbiPharm confirms UbiPharm Group’s ambition to be a reference player in pharmaceutical distribution across Africa and the French overseas territories. By placing innovation at the core of its priorities, UbiPharm reaffirms its commitment to supporting clients and partners in navigating sector developments and addressing population needs.
